When you first decide to move to apartments in Palo Alto CA, you probably aren’t thinking about the amazing nearby brunch options in Mountain View, but they definitely exist and many of them are wonderful. In fact, there are so many amazing places to choose from that we had a hard time narrowing it down to our four favorites.
But more than anything else, nobody wants to feel overwhelmed by a plethora of options and too many choices when it comes to eating brunch. They want to hear about a few of the top restaurants in the community so they can make an informed decision based on the best available selections.
So, in an effort to narrow down your search for delicious brunch spots in Mountain View, CA, we’ve decided to briefly write about four of our favorite places to eat a combination of breakfast and lunch. Pay close attention to our recommendations and try one, a couple, or all of them in the days and weeks to come.
We particularly like Scratch because of the gorgeous ambiance and exciting atmosphere. The restaurant has dim lighting, a sleek interior, and it’s definitely one of the swankier spots in Mountain View, CA.
So, if you happen to be looking for a great place for dinner and drinks, then you’ve definitely found the right place because it is an excellent option. Guess what? They also serve brunch on the weekends, so you can come in and enjoy amazing meals including the vegetable egg white frittata, almond crusted French toast, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, crab cakes, and so much more delicious fare.
Are you more of a fan of lunch than brunch? They’ve definitely got you covered in this regard as well. Their lunch menu has so many delicious options like the macaroni and cheese, sweet potato fries, the scratch burger, the Silicon Valley club sandwich, fish and chips, rotisserie chicken, fried chicken sandwich, lobster roll, and a wide range of other amazing choices.
2. Paul Martin’s American Grill
Paul Martin’s American Grill is another excellent choice if you’re in the mood for a delicious brunch. There menu is assembled thoughtfully for you, and their weekend brunch dishes are truly to die for according to many.
Whether you particularly like breakfast or lunch, just know that they’re going to have some amazing options for you to choose from. You can mix and match and have a little bit of breakfast and a little bit of lunch during your brunch experience, or if you prefer you can go strictly lunch or strictly breakfast depending on what you happen to be in the mood for when visiting this fantastic restaurant. They have some of the best American inspired dishes in the area so you’ll truly love everything that they have to offer.
In fact, while enjoying food from their amazing brunch buffet, you can tantalize your taste buds eating such amazing dishes as eggs benedict with bacon and French toast, baked blueberry bread with lemon honey butter, omelettes with great tasting vegetables like tomato, spinach, and onions, as well as other amazing choices like the Monte cristo sandwich, brioche French toast, short rib hash tacos, garden frittata, brioche French toast, crab cake Benedict, and delicious sides including smashed potatoes, spiced bacon, and seasonal fresh fruit.
3. Stein’s Beer Garden
We always love recommending Stein’s Beer Garden to our readers because it’s truly an amazing experience that none of you will soon forget. Obviously the beer garden is off the charts awesome, and it’s definitely one of the best places to go in Mountain View if you’re looking for the right atmosphere and plenty of beer. But the reason you’re here is because of brunch, and this is definitely one of the better brunch spots to check out.
On their brunch menu, you have an opportunity to sample some delicious meals whether you’re in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or both. Their weekend brunch menu consists of house made corn nuts, fresh-baked pretzels, house cut Kennebec fries, house made granola with fresh fruit, Stein’s stuffed doughnuts, grilled sausage plate, and other great tasting sides.
On the main brunch entree menu, you can get chicken fried steak and eggs, house cured corned beef hash with eggs, grilled flank steak and brie omelette, Stein’s Benedict, papas bravas and spice veggie hash, French toast, and biscuits and gravy as well as many other delicious options.
4. Stephen’s Green
Stephen’s Green weekend brunch is certainly a delightful option for those looking to enjoy a delicious meal outside of their home on a Saturday or Sunday morning. They have plenty of great Irish favorites for all to enjoy, so if you love delicious traditional breakfasts and bottomless mimosas – yes you read that correctly – then you will absolutely want to check out this astonishing restaurant in Mountain View, CA.
On their brunch menu, you’ll be able to enjoy such options like the traditional Irish breakfast, steak and eggs, the all American breakfast, Irish style eggs Benedict, California style eggs Benedict, Southern chorizo eggs Benedict, Florentine eggs Benedict, and more.
If you’re in the mood for South of the border flavors, you’ll love the huevos rancheros, chorizo and eggs, and their chilaquiles because they are all absolutely delicious. They even serve classic French toast and smoked salmon egg in a hole as well as Irish Monte Cristo sandwiches and Monte Cristo sandwiches made California style.
