    The Computer History Museum

    There is probably no other city where more computer lovers congregate than Mountain View. The Computer History Museum is a fascinating facility with special admission for groups and families. The exhibits show 2000-years of computing. Learn how ancient civilizations calculated their needs and planned their future. See the first computers of the 1940’s and 1950’s. Watch the evolution of technology we all take advantage of every day. This is a must see exhibit.

    Shoreline At Mountain View

    This is an 8-mile network of trails, that travels along the shoreline and the popular Stevens Creek Trail. The trail next to Stevens Creek travels about 5-miles through the beautiful Mountain View. There is plenty of natural beauty in the area with views of the mountains, walking trails that cross bridges, and trails for biking, jogging, and inline skating. Whether you are a resident of Mountain View or are just in town for a visit, this is a place you will want to experience.

    The Rengstorff House

    This beautiful Victorian style home is the oldest in Mountain View. It is a 12-room mansion with 11-foot ceilings on the first floor and 10-foot ceilings on the second floor. The house was completely restored in 1991 and furnished in authentic detail. Even the wallpaper is of the Victorian style. The mansion features ornate brass chandeliers, a widow’s walk, and push button light switches. The Rengstorff House is open for public tours three days per week.

    The Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts
    Located in downtown Mountain View is the famous Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. This is the home of music, dance, and theater. Enjoy visual art exhibits and attend lectures and corporate events. Millions of people have visited the center since it opened in 1991.

    Only 15 miles from Mountain View Ca is the wonderful city of San Jose, CA. The city of San Jose has many museums, entertainment centers, sports facilities, and family centers. Visit mansions, the Rotary Playgarden, The Rose Garden and the Japanese Friendship Garden.

    This summer see the CONCACAF Gold Cup Finals or the International Champions Cup. Take in a ball game at Modesto Nuts at San Jose Giants. If you like hockey, be sure to catch a game at SAP Center. Visit one of the theaters in the area such as City Lights Theater Company or Montgomery Theater.
